About Us
It seemed like a trip to South Africa was on many bucket lists! Word traveled fast and before you could say “The Big 5”, Shosholoza Tours was up and running, welcoming back one satisfied customer and sending off another.
“Shosholoza” is a traditional South African song that was first sung by workers in the South African mines. Originating from Zulu, Shosholoza literally means “move forward”, and was used as a term of encouragement and hope for the workers. Its meaning and message has always remained the same over the years, unifying communities in times of struggle. To this day, it is sung in celebration of South Africa’s national unity and is even considered by some to be South Africa’s ‘second’ national anthem.
We at Shosholoza Tours pride ourselves on respecting those values as we work with our clients to provide the most incredible, awe-inspiring trip to this magnificent country, tailored to meet your every specific need. Our trips include, but are not limited to, tours of Cape Town, Johannesburg, Victoria Falls, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, The Okavango Delta, Kruger Park, Chobe National Park, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda. We offer a strictly supervised Kosher option, as well as ‘Kosher Lite’ and non-kosher and we have trips to match any budget!
We want to share our passion with you. So call us today and let’s get started on planning your once in a lifetime experience. You’ll thank us!
Sawubona!
who look so forward to greeting you in South Africa.
